Project Manager

Dante Consulting project managers perform various duties including, but not limited to, delivering a variety of artifacts following the Dante methodology, leading project teams, and managing client deliverables. Additional duties would include analyzing and defining existing and new processes and systems, defining scope for releases, participating in analysis and general design sessions, and overseeing the development and maintenance of quality analysis documentation. Our project managers come to Dante with prior experience in performing analysis and managing highly complex projects with multiple integration points, Use Case-based methodology, object-oriented design, and web-based development.

J2EE Developer/Architect

Dante Consulting J2EE developers/architects perform various duties including, but not limited to, analyzing, designing, and developing solutions for creating and integrating enterprise applications utilizing J2EE standards. Our developers and architects come to Dante with prior experience in design and development of multi-tier software applications using J2EE, object-oriented design methods, and application servers.

Database Administrator

Dante Consulting database administrators perform various duties including, but not limited to, designing, developing, implementing, and modifying databases in a J2EE environment. They also design and implement archiving solutions while implementing stored procedures and writing data loading scripts to optimize database performance. Our DBAs come to Dante with prior experience in optimizing databases in a J2EE environment.

Business Analyst

Dante Consulting business analysts perform various duties including, but not limited to, analyzing existing business processes and information systems, defining new processes and systems, defining scope for releases, defining and creating detailed use cases, participating in general design sessions, and developing and maintaining quality analysis documentation. Our business analysts come to Dante with prior experience in Use Case-based methodology, object-oriented analysis and design, iterative development, and running or participating in JAD sessions.

QA Engineer/Tester

Dante Consulting quality assurance engineers/testers perform various duties including, but not limited to, load, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing. Our testers complete these duties using manual and automated testing, specifically, using tools such as WinRunner and Loadrunner. Previous experience with Use Case-based methodology, object-oriented design, and Rational Unified Process (RUP) in a web application environment is beneficial.

Security Assurance Specialist

Dante Consulting security specialists develop security strategies for our clients in order to protect their critical assets as well as to meet compliance requirements. Our specialists are technically proficient in order to assess both application and infrastructure security and to contribute to the completion of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process. Our security specialists come with a wide variety of technologies, including awareness of current information security issues and the ability to interpret the requirements of relevant regulations and standards. Our ideal candidates will have experience performing C&A processes including Risk Assessment, Security Plan development, evaluation of Security Controls, Concept of Operations planning (COOP), Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning, as well as the ability to assist clients in performing vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, patch management, and incident reporting activities. Dante security specialists also bring with them knowledge of Federal Regulations and Security Compliance requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley, FISMA, NIST/800 series, OMB directives, and administrative knowledge of various operating environments like Windows, Unix, etc. They are also proficient in security appliances and devices including Firewalls, Routers, IPS, etc., and have familiarity with technical security assessment techniques, tools, and practices. All of our security specialists have an Information Security Professional Certification such as CISSP, CISA, etc.

Security Developer/Architect – Identity and Access Management

Dante Consulting security developers/architects have deep technical and consulting skills to work in Security Controls and Architecture, Identity Management, including Federated Identity Management, Access Management and Enterprise Directory. Our security developers/architects also have a core set of skills in the J2EE framework and in Integration Platforms (e.g., WebLogic Integration, WebSphere Business Integration, Webmethods, Vitria). These consultants bring with them to Dante an understanding of Federated Identity Management including SAML/Liberty Alliance as well as experience architecting User Management and Provisioning solutions at an enterprise level. Also, hands on experience with an Identity and Access Management product such as CA eTrust, RSA, Entrust is desirable.
